Why don't decision-makers and project managers apply the AV/Eco-design methodology? Because they don't know about it. They don't approach the resolution of their projects from all angles. They talk about ecology but never measure the impact of their project solutions on the environment, so they don't know what eco-design is.

When we perform a functional analysis, i.e., when we define the service functions and the constraints related to external elements and stakeholders, and then we perform the CriNiFlex analysis, we highlight these indicators and assign them a value. Another essential part of our methodology is that we validate the need before starting a project and perform a risk analysis at the end of the project.

After a general presentation of eco-design, an industrial example will be developed to show the benefits of combining Value Analysis and Eco-design.
