Twenty-six (26) participants attended the Module 1 training workshop in Toronto this year. The attendees came from as far away as Regina, Winnipeg, Thunder Bay and Ottawa. There was also a good representation from the Toronto area. The group was split into four workgroups to work on one of the four projects ; three of which were highway transportation projects and one was an industrial application to re-design a high efficiency pump for the mining industry.

The participants actively participated in all of the sessions which resulted in a good understanding of the VE process in many types of applications.

Lucie Parrot P.E. CVS (Life) was the lead instructor and Tom Fletcher P.Eng., CVS was the assistant instructor.
