Call for Speakers

Delivering Value: 2012 Canadian Society of Value Analysis (CSVA) Annual Conference

In 2012 the CSVA Annual Conference in Calgary will bring together representatives from government, industry, and practitioners to demonstrate the use of Value and Risk Analysis in Delivering Value with today’s challenges.
We are seeking speakers on the application of Value Analysis (VA) and Risk Analysis in the following areas:
  • Infrastructure including Transportation, Water-Wastewater Systems, Waste Management, and Facilities
  • Identification and Balancing of Stakeholder needs
  • Portfolio and /or Program Management
  • Achieving value for money in project delivery though Alternative Financing, Procurement and Delivery (Project Scoping, Procurement, Construction Manager at Risk, Design -Build, Design- Build –Finance- Maintain etc.)
  • Delivering value in service delivery, business processes, information technology, and organizational change
Please submit an abstract (300 words) with the title of your presentation and your brief résumé (100 words) to tell us who you are and what knowledge you will be transferring. We especially welcome practitioners to present together with their clients. Please submit your abstract by Monday, May 14, 2012 to Mushtaq Rabbi at The Canadian Society of Value Analysis’ mission is to promote the application of the Value Methodologies for the benefit of society, government, industry and practitioners. The City of Calgary is one of the major sponsors of this event and there will be a large participation by City project managers at this conference.
