This year the Canadian Society of Value Analysis conference will be held in Ottawa on November 23rd and 24th, 2009. Our conference will highlight how Value Analysis/Value Engineering/Value Management can be an effective strategy to enable governments, businesses and other organizations to successfully navigate the current challenging economic times, by improving performance, improving efficiency and maximizing value in their projects, products and services.

More than ever, the sustainability of businesses and the effectiveness of government programs require strategic and optimized investment of resources. The systematic application of Value Analysis enables industry, government and the service sector to achieve value and harness innovation. Value Analysis combines the power of the synergy, creativity and the experience of the multi-disciplinary team members and the use of functional analysis as the basis for consideration of alternate solutions. The 2009 CSVA conference brings together representatives from government, industry and practitioners to demonstrate the use of Value Analysis in:

  • Manufacturing: products and processes
  • Services: services and processes
  • Infrastructure: projects, facilities and sustainability
